Introducing Oraichain Studio — building the next generation of AI smart contracts on Oraichain

The Oraichain Studio is a hub for developers to integrate unlimited AI functionalities into smart contracts for Oraichain and many other Cosmos SDK based blockchains. Oraichain has completed the architecture and development of the Studio, allowing developers to write, test, simulate and deploy AI smart contracts on the Oraichain Lunar Testnet and Oraichain Mainnet.

Developing Smart Contracts is not Easy

Traditionally, DApp creation can be a very difficult process. Developers lack the tools they need to help build, deploy and simulate the functionalities and logic of their smart contracts online. Currently, developers must spend time building the environment on their own computers with whatever tools they can find. For blockchain deployment, developers might have to go through many manual coding via command line interface (CLI) and wallet. And because of CosmWasm limitations, developers must labor through many sporadic and intricate steps in which the outputs are not completely packaged, requiring unfriendly hand-coding through CLI commands.

We’ve created the Orai Dev Studio to fill the gap between idea and deployment, providing all the tools that developers need to build and test their smart contracts on Oraichain.

Oraichain’s Solution

We have created an online development studio to improve the AI Smart Contract development processing on Oraichain and other Cosmos SDK based blockchain networks that have a WASM module. The Oraichain Studio provides Integrated Development Environment (IDE) allowing developers to build smart contracts either from scratch or from the CosmWasm templates provided by Oraichain. It solves the developing environment and compatibility issues by offering a seamless environment to write code, build, deploy as well as simulate smart contracts online. Oraichain has made integrating AI into smart contracts easy, giving developers all the tools to handle coding and more time to creatively design UX for their DApps.

How does the Oraichain Studio work?

The system creates a Sandbox environment, developers just need to log in using their GitHub account to create new smart contract projects. After that, developers use the “Built-in” functions from Studio CLI to generate a wasm file and JSON Schema, which are stored on the Studio’s centralized database. The wasm file is deployed onto the network for users to interact with, while the JSON schema simplifies the users’ inputs. The simulation feature, on the other hand, will run the smart contract’s commands to emulate the environment on which the smart contract runs on blockchain. Developers can test how functions work without deploying on testnet/mainnet, reducing the overall time spent programming and testing.

At the first step, we support the Smart contract developments on Oraichain. In the future, we will make other Cosmos-based Blockchains compatible. At 15:00 UTC on Thursday 22nd April 2021, we will organize the Oraichain Studio Demo Livestream where more detailed information will be released.
